Derbyshire house is a purpose built, non profit making and newly refurbished home, registered to provide single occupancy accommodation for 31 older people.

We are situated in the village of East Leake and within walking distance of village facilities such as churches, shops, a post office, a library and health centre.

Anyone over the age of 65 who requires physical, emotional and some mental support is entitled to apply for a place at Derbsyshire House. We will cater for individual needs as they appear, but we are unable to offer specialised nursing services. The staff within the home are not medically trained but do have the relevant qualifications and caring nature to work here.

We are able to meet a range of needs for physical, emotional, nutritional, end of life, social and some mental health support. We are not Dementia registered but are able to accept people whose primary need is not mental health.

We aim to enable people to live a life that is fulfilled and happy and full of love and support.
